I am dealing with fall without the autumn droops. I feel great and all is well at Many Branches. (Well, look at this font which has introduced itself into my post on its own.) I guess I will keep it. When I fool with this new computer bad things happen and then we will need the wonderful Geek Squad.
Andy and I ran errands and shopped at Sam's. Their tilapia was so plump and fresh we hurried home and had it for lunch. I bought pork today because Nate is still loving his smoker. I bought two different cuts and will get them marinating for later in the week. Nate can eat meat like no other. I get concerned that it is too much, but I have no proof of that, and he is nearly 30 years old, so he knows his own body. He simply loves meat.
We bought the 49 Nature Valley oats and honey granola bars again. They are so good with tea and or coffee or just alone for a quick pick-me-up.
There was a normal amount of people at Sam's, so maybe people have decided they need to work. And, we need them to work! I can't believe how much in debt the nation is in and we are still printing money. We don't know who is in charge, but whoever it is needs to reassess.
I am reading Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe. It's a lot of family drama which, at this point, I can do without. But I read on. Keeping the characters in place is a challenge. There are a lot of them.
I am off to sort my booty.
