The beauty of summer. Really, is there anything prettier?...well, yes, when the bacon is added. Andy and I enjoy the basil leaves instead of lettuce. It adds another dimension of flavor.
I am thinking of a trip to Amish country in Plain City. I like so many of their products like baby beets, their deli cases filled with wonderful choices at reasonable prices and their bread, and their dried pasta selection is incredible. I checked to see and they are open today. Beth is wanting to step out and that may be the answer...a trip to Amish country. (I am thinking. I am convincing myself to take a ride.)Oh, yes, there will be sweet corn and tomato stands along the way. That does it. We are going!
