Shepherd's pie

I enjoy a good shepherd's pie. I only make it a couple of times a year and each time I think I should make it more often.  I am trying a new casserole each day for no special reason.  Yesterday it was the hash brown potato dish with tiny shrimp. One serving was left from a dish that was not really big, but the contents were piled high. Andy made short work of the one serving left over today.

I finished the book Between Sisters yesterday.  It was really a good read. I am starting another from the same author.  I was reading her a while ago and skipped to another author. I like to read everything from one author if I enjoy her work.) It makes me feel that I know the author through her work. I don't know why I left her, but, now she is rediscovered.

I am not up to date with the news.  I am not watching or talking politics for three weeks, maybe more. I hope things have settled down for you during this upheaval.

I made a big batch of those oyster enhanced crackers today.  I burned one tray but managed two big trays that filled the tin for Thanksgiving. They sit in all their glory by the parade of soups gracing the counter on that special day.  They are so easy to make and so tasty.  I am going to enhance the Club crackers the same way tomorrow and make another tray of the oyster crackers which pleases Andy to no end.  It does not take much to entertain him. lol

Talk to you by blog tomorrow and find out the casserole of the day.

To the doctor

We are off to the doctor to have Andy checked out since he has had two falls.  We thought to wait until his appointment on the 20th, but aft...
