Away a week from Thursday

The travel agent finally got on the ball and now we know pretty much what we will be doing for two weeks in Italy.  I had to order a few more things from Amazon.  Italy has stopped using plastic water bottles and good for them, so she suggested we bring a reusable travel mug which I had not thought of.  I wish we would do away with plastic water bottles too.  She says it rains, so I bought a rain jacket and also bug repellent--so: we will be dehydrated but in the rain, while the mosquitos feast on our poor tired bodies.  Sounds like fun, don't you think? I think it will be pretty there in October with the temperatures hoving in the mid to low 70 degrees but a lot cooler in the evenings. (Better for wedding dancing.)  I think Alyssa and Beth have it all arranged and settled.  All they have to do now is to cough up the money.

I have all kinds of adapters and chargers and plugs, so I hope to shoot you pictures until you are sick of the whole thing. They will be on Facebook.  I don't know about the blog.  I need to figure that out.

I am cooking from the fridge today.  I want to make Andy some things so he does not starve while I am gone.  I have stayed in Paris a month at a time before (many times) and he got along great but that was then and this is now.

I am thinking of a Bob Evans zesty sausage soup today.  I just finished a load of deviled eggs with some egg salad left over to have on toasted sandwiches.  I have to make homemade croutons, he does love those with soup and salads.

We are enjoying this lovely end of summer to no end. I love it so.

To the doctor

We are off to the doctor to have Andy checked out since he has had two falls.  We thought to wait until his appointment on the 20th, but aft...
