This is what I am talking about: doctored oyster crackers. You know how dull and bland oyster crackers are...and how cheap they are. Both are an asset here because the doctoring of them can be to your specification. I melt 2 sticks of butter while adding to the butter: red pepper flakes, dried seasoning to your liking, no salt because you will use some garlic salt if you have it, cajun seasoning, dried parsley and cilantro. Stir and put in the oven at 350 for about 15-20 minutes. Watch them because I don't know your oven. They should look like this picture and they last for however long you have them. You get where I am going? Whatever you like to taste in a good spicy cracker put it in the butter, stir and pour over 2 bags of crackers.
I also made this vegetable gratin today.
