Baking Aids

I started more baking early today and wanted to tell you two things:  I missed the Holiday Cookie section of Cook's Corner again this year.  I don't know when they sent it, but looking at their confusing on line newspaper section, I think I not only missed the paper, my recipe missed getting in as well.  But, the good thing is you have it here on line.  The second good things are these loaf pan liners.  What a blessing when doing any kind of sweet and or sticky breads or cakes.  Buy the large size, spay the bottom of your baking pan, insert the paper upside down and spread it out and then lightly spray again.  The items come out beautifully.  Here are three apricot, pecan breads and two more cranberry sauce (I made that recipe up) breads. You can buy these liners on Amazon or King Arthur's site.  I am about baked out.  We will never be able to consume all of this. LOL Want to bet?

I will add to this good things to use list as I plow on deep into the holiday cooking realm. One thing I have discovered; we used a bottle of Trader Joe's Goddess dressing in three days.  It is delicious and all of 'his' prices are certainly reasonable.

On a sad note Stalin's called this morning from Cincinnati.  I had ordered two raspberry cheese coffee cakes along with some other items and North College Hill Bakery has stopped producing the raspberry coffee cakes!!!!!!  I am incensed.
