Sweet peppers, onions, and pepper bacon sauteed and then add red wine and Mr. T's bloody Mary mix~
Some days it does not pay to enter the kitchen. The kitchen is cross from over use and a mess is the price one pays. I had good intentions, and the result was quite tasty, but the mess was something else with which to contend. I saw all those miniature sweet peppers and plump onions and a few slices of pepper bacon and could not resist making this soup with Mr. and Mrs. T's bloody Mary mix. Andy is scraping the bottom of the cup as I write, but the kitchen washing machine is trying to get the stains out of the dish cloths. The blender, my least favorite kitchen appliance, spewed soup all over my work area just as Andy came home from classes.
I guess I'll go back to my book The Sweet Life in Paris by David Lebovitz and my on-line Scrabble games that are in progress. No more kitchen duty today; it's too dangerous.
