I know you have seen the copper skillets advertised on TV. Ollie's, a discount store in Columbus, sells them for $10. each, two different sizes, both great to use. Andy brought two home with him and I was so thrilled that he went back to buy 7 as gifts for the family at our last party here over Labor Day. Pam was kind enough to say she was really liking hers too. This is a slow day today with everyone going different directions, so I made a pizza in one of these skillets with great success. As you can see, it slid right out of the skillet onto the cutting board. Love it. I would like the big square one as shown on TV, but it is too much trouble to go through to get it. Maybe it will appear at Ollie's some day. The big square one can hold cakes and cobblers and stews. Sigh.
I had a few minutes in Ollie's and while I once turned up my nose at it, I discovered so many brands that cost a fortune in other stores. Paula Deen's products for one thing. I bought Emerson earphones for less than a five dollar bill. K-Cup coffee pods by the box for $25. I want to go back when I have time to cover this enormous store with kind sales clerks that go out of their way to help us sort through the store.
