Homemade granola day~

This computer is a  #$%##$%^^ to use for this blog's purpose, but I am in to making homemade granola today and you must see this.  Excuse, please, the odd coloring and underlining...this computer does as it pleases and today it wants you to see it in blue. (or not, I guess it did not come out in blue.) Recipe by Barefoot Contessa but I enhance it and double it, at least, because it goes fast but stores well. Toast it in the oven to a warm brown, but watch it  burns fast.  You cannot hurt this recipe or go wrong in what you add to it.  Let yourself go and invent from the basics.  My GOOD computer comes home tomorrow afternoon. I will make better sense then and I'll get this post adjusted.

Ingredients
•4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
•2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
•2 cups sliced almonds
•3/4 cup vegetable oil
•1/2 cup good honey
•1 1/2 cups small diced dried apricots
•1 cup small diced dried figs
•1 cup dried cherries
•1 cup dried cranberries
•1 cup roasted, unsalted cashews
Add the dried fruit AFTER the mixture comes out of the oven so the fruit stays moist and plump.
