Company's coming

Now that everything is back in working order we have invited Joe and Glenda Lechler to spend several days here at Many Branches.  We so enjoy their company. This picture was taken a few years ago in the spring before the blooms were out. So, we will be playing cards without jackets under the pergola where all the flowers are blooming on the trellises.  I am busy cooking and preparing the simple supper for tomorrow night--steaks on the grill, crack potatoes, and a big platter of sliced tomatoes along with corn on (or maybe off) the cob. Sliced peaches over United Dairy's peach ice cream will be on the menu several nights running.
