Signs of Summer

We have been waiting all summer for the peaches from the outdoor market at Clintonville. (Funny how I once anticipated diamonds and now it's peaches, tomatoes, and corn on the cob.) Go figure. A long line greets the peach lovers and many times waiting in line is futile because the peaches run out before the line ends. But this year! Glorious fuzzy peaches that are mouth watering accompanied Andy home. So I am happy in my kitchen this morning as I brew up a pot of Andy's tomatoes with basil and other lovely herbs (and squash) for a base for many different dishes to greet the Sunday diners. We have tomatoes to share with our good neighbors and with our family as Andy plants way more than we can use.

I'll be back. I just had to get these pictures on for drooling purposes. LOL
